Imperial Dance Orchestra
Настоящее имя: Imperial Dance Orchestra
Об исполнителе:
This was a widely used pseudonym, indiscriminately used by many dance orchestras, for countless releases on the Plaza Music Company and American Record Corporation labels (e.g. Banner, Domino (2), Oriole (3), and related labels). To a lesser extent, it was also used on Plaza Music Company and Emerson Phonograph Company Inc. masters that were pressed on Bell (4), Pathé Actuelle, Perfect (3) and other labels in the 1920s-1930s. Many issues are believed to have been by the Pathé Phonograph & Radio Corp. house orchestra under the direction of Domenico Savino (a.k.a. D. Onivas), or Plaza Music Company / American Record Corporation house orchestras under the direction of Adrian Schubert (2). In addition, a number of other artists used this pseudonym, and an attempt is being made to identify these on individual release pages in the database. These artists include: 1 - Al Lynch And His Orchestra 2 - The Bar Harbor Society Orchestra 3 - Ben Selvin & His Orchestra 4 - Bill Wirges And His Orchestra 5 - Bob Haring & His Orchestra 6 - California Ramblers 7 - Don Voorhees And His Orchestra 8 - Fred Rich And His Orchestra 9 - [a3736730] 10 - Harry Barth's Mississippians 11 - Harry Reser & His Orchestra 12 - Jack Teagarden And His Orchestra 13 - Joseph Knecht's Waldorf Astoria Dance Orchestra 14 - Joseph Samuels' Orchestra 15 - Justin Ring And His Orchestra 16 - Lou Gold And His Orchestra 17 - Max Terr And His Orchestra 18 - Mills Merry Makers 19 - Nathan Glantz And His Orchestra 20 - The New Yorkers (5) 21 - Nicholas Orlando's Orchestra 22 - Sam Lanin And His Dance Orchestra 23 - Smith Ballew And His Orchestra 24 - Van And His Orchestra 25 - Willard Robison & His Orchestra 26 - Adrian Schubert's Salon Orchestra
