IMD (2)

Bootleg label, distributed and marketed in Saudi Arabia. IMD was specialised in cassettes with releases from the 1970s to 1990s. Through the years, the cassette shells (honeycomb grid, etc), printed fonts and embossed logos appeared on releases in different design variations. Please check the image section (images now defunct) and this forum post for identification and confirmation. Label logo looks very close to the designs from MG Records (2) (Poland), QP (2) (Saudi Arabia) and Stars (10) (Syria). The label existed in Beirut before moving to Saudi Arabia and had produced for Arabic artists (Licensed) and some non-Arabic / international artists (Unlicensed). Forum discussion about this.
