Footprint Records was founded by Bo Ejeby and Per Sjösten in September 2003. Bo Ejeby is responsible for the textual contents and layout and is running an editing company for books related to music and sheet music. Per Sjösten is responsible for recording, editing and mastering the label's output and he is an acoustic consultant and researcher at the Sound Processing company.
