Derby (3)
Настоящее имя: Derby (3)
German 8" Shellac budget label that existed from 1926 to 1932.
At first the Derby label was a collaboration between four companies. The matrices of Grammophon, Homocord, Odeon and Vox (3) were used. The origin of the matrices of the brown 10" records was indicated by the prefix: G, H, O or V.
After the insolvency of Vox (3) and the takeover of Homocord by Carl Lindström A.-G. the Deutsche Grammophon-Aktiengesellschaft and the Carl Lindström A.-G. issued 8" records with a light blue label with the prefix D.O.
All Derby records have 'Nur für Deutschland' printed on the label, meaning that they weren't allowed to be sold outside of Germany.
