Matt Picker is a native of the St. Louis music scene; the former drummer for (and the founding member of) The Blind Eyes as well as garage rockers The Gentleman Callers and seminal St. Louis punk outfit El Gordo's Revenge. Additionally, he has performed several shows on drums with the solo side project of Groovie Ghoulies singer and guitarist Kepi Ghoulie, and duetted with legendary drummer Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Starr's All Starr Band, David Lee Roth, Maynard Ferguson). A 21+ year music industry veteran, Picker spent many years as an A&R rep for Ampeg and Crate amplifiers as well as Alvarez guitars, and appears in the liner notes of albums by bands such as The Strokes, Iron Maiden, The Donnas, Living Colour and many more. He also assisted in facilitating the designs for signature acoustic guitar models for Ani DiFranco and Monte Montgomery.
