Cecilia Franke

Swedish organist and composer, born December 23, 1955 in Malmö. She is a trained dentist, but since 1991 she has served as a church musician. She graduated as a cantor in 1975 and studied composition with Sven-David Sandström, Henrik Strindberg, Per Mårtensson and Mattias Svensson at Gotland's Tonsättarskola and then with Rolf Martinsson and Kent Olofsson at the University of Music in Malmö. She was elected as a member of the Association of Swedish Composers in 2009.
