The Rose & The Briar

Packaged in a clear-tray jewel case with a photo-illustrated 16-page booklet that includes credits, notes, and release information. This CD includes most of the songs treated in “The Rose & The Briar: Death, Love and Liberty in the American Ballad” book edited by Sean Wilentz and Greil Marcus in 2005. On track 15 the trumpet and drum credits are missing. I have not been able to find either in the database or on the Internet the names that appear in the credits of the album
