Some copies bought from artist's shop come with a signed 'complement slip' style insert explaining they decided to press the vinyl unmastered to retain the exact dynamics of the studio mix. The pressing is therefore quieter than most commercial pressings so the listener is exhorted to turn up the volume, 'play it loud'.
