Charles Street Cowboy: Another unreleased shot, a minor key effort, with a rather tentative guitar solo, possibly by Lynn Taitt, though it doesn’t sound particularly accomplished by his standards. Only Soul Can Tell: Presumably released in the UK because Slim Smith was under contract elsewhere, this is unmistakeably the great Curtis Mayfield influenced vocalist. Issued on BB 358 in 1966.
