Zomax Ltd.

Zomax Ltd. was an Irish company that ran a CD manufacturing plant in Dublin. This plant was previously known as KAO Ireland, and was acquired by Zomax in 1998 when Zomax Optical Media, Inc. purchased Kao Infosystems Ireland, Ltd. from Japanese parent company KAO Corporation. In August 2006, Zomax went into an agreement with MPO to consolidate their separate Irish media replication businesses, manufacturing operations and management teams into one entity in Blanchardstown, Dublin. This new joint venture operated as Zomax/MPO Ireland Limited until March 2007, when Zomax announced the closure of the plant.
