KAO Ireland was a CD manufacturing plant located in Dublin, first opened in 1993 or 1994.
In late 1998, this plant was acquired by Zomax Optical Media, Inc. (Zomax Optical) when Kao Infosystems Ireland, Ltd. was purchased from Japanese parent company KAO Corporation.
