The Depot (4)

Minneapolis, Minnesota Originally a Greyhound bus station opened in 1937. Opened as The Depot on April 3, 1970. Opening night performance inclueded Joe Cocker with his Mad Dogs & Englishmen. In July 1972, the Depot was purchased and changed to Uncle Sam's as a franchise of American Avents. After a brief period in 1979-80 when it became independent and known simply as Sam's, it was renamed First Avenue on 12/31/1980.
