Gratte-Ciel
Настоящее имя: Gratte-Ciel
Gratte-Ciel "Sky Scraper" was a Paris based independent label, established in October 1976 by the "Rock'n Folk" music journalist Jean-Marc Bailleux, and run by Jean-Marc Patrat and José Serré. Originally they were distributed by Discobird (early CIEL series releases with basic text only labels). In 1977 distribution was taken over by the same management as Isadora and distributed via RCA (ZL numbers) for a while introducing the Gratte-Ciel logo. In 1978 the label went back to being independent, but carried on with the new logo label for releases and reissues.
Most of the Gratte-Ciel label was underground "left field" experimental progressive and cross-culture music, plus some prog-fusion and pop. They also handled and marketed the labels: Speedball and Tartempion.
