South African record company launched in 1985 by John Culverwell, Louis van Ass and [a2300637] following their purchase of the SonoVision Studios. Through its partnership with David Baker's Disc Jockey Music Co. (Pty) Ltd. it became a competitor to the crowns held by the larger EMI and Gallo stalwarts before it was sold off in 1988.
