Resona
Настоящее имя: Resona
U.S. record label produced for The Charles William Stores, Inc. of New York by at least three manufacturers between ca. 1920-1925.
Earliest records bear simple black labels and were manufactured by the Federal Record Corporation. Couplings and catalog numbers were identical to those of corresponding Federal (3) issues, plus 70000 (e.g. Federal (3) 5114 = Resona 75114).
Production of the label shifted to the B. D. & M. Company after Federal Record Corporation failed and sold its assets to the Scranton Button Company in 1924. These releases bear fairly ornate red, black and gold labels that incorporate a lyre trademark. Early B. D. & M. Company pressings drew from The New York Recording Laboratories masters. Later releases drew from Emerson Recording Laboratories masters. Couplings and catalog numbers were usually identical to those of other B. D. & M. Company-produced labels (e.g. Puritan and Triangle (16)).
When B. D. & M. Company declared bankruptcy in mid-1925, production of the Resona label shifted once again, this time to the Scranton Button Company and drew from Regal Record Company, Inc. masters.
