Perfection Concert Record
Настоящее имя: Perfection Concert Record
Romanian label active during interwar period.
Owned by businessman Nathan Mischonzniky (Romanian with Hebrew origins), who had a business in Germany dealing with musical instruments and sheet music merchandise, founded in 1900.
He bought a second-hand equipment from the German factory Kristall (2), and brought it to Bucharest. Reassembling the factory equipment takes a year.
The plant goes through a series of name changes from the Perfection Concert Record to Homocord (after 1928, until 1931), the best known in the interwar period as Cristal (2) (name borrowed from the German recording plant, Kristall (2), which is working in Berlin and Vienna). Only in 1937 was built the first audio recording studio in Romania (until then, Romanian artists such as Maria Tănăse Gică Petrescu and must commute to Vienna and Berlin to record).
Renamed to Electrecord in 1938.
