Triola
Настоящее имя: Triola
A Nordic label, first founded in Finland in 1948 by Levytukku Oy.
Label Code: LC 0374 / LC 00374
In the late 1950s, it started to operate under different companies in other Nordic countries as well.
In Norway it was started in 1957 by Egil Monn Iversen A/S, a company formed and owned equally by the then The Monn-Keys members Egil Monn Iversen, Arne Bendiksen, [a336101], Per Asplin, and Sølvi Wang. In 1964, Asplin, Monn Iversen, and Wang sold their shares in the company to Bendiksen. The company changed name to Arne Bendiksen A/S and continued to operate the Triola label (Sanne kept his 20% stake and continued to work for Bendiksen). In 1983 Arne Bendiksen A/S went bankrupt after being the victim of a financial scam, and relaunched as Arne Bendiksen Records AS.
In Denmark the label was started c. 1956 by the record company Mørks Musikforlag. Initially they released records by foreign artists; from 1958 also Danish artists like Dorthe Kollo. Their biggest selling artist in the period 1958-63 was Italian child star Robertino Loretti, billed simply as Robertino.
