Amoco Corporation, originally Standard Oil Company (Indiana). A massive global oil & chemical company founded in 1889 in Whiting, Indiana, USA. Amoco were taken over by BP in 1998 and, for a short period of time, were called BP Amoco. This name was essentially dropped in 2000's. However, in 2017 BP announced that it was reintroducing the Amoco brand back into the USA. All records issued by this huge firm were for promotional purposes (both public and internally).
