Focal Point Gallery

British contemporary art gallery, established in 1990 and based in South Essex, UK. Focal Point Gallery (FPG) is focused on painting, installations, film and video, and other forms of art by local, UK-based and international artists. In 2013, FPG relocated to The Forum, a facility that houses Southend Central Library, the University of Essex and South Essex College. Some of the highlights from the Focal Point Gallery's permanent commissions and critically-acclaimed exhibitions over the years include Allen Ruppersberg, Tris Vonna-Michell, Robert Morris (4), Cerith Wyn Evans and others.
