Vassar College

American private liberal arts college, founded in 1861 and located in Poughkeepsie, New York. Vassar College is one of the historical "Seven Sisters" congregation — a group of elite Northeastern women's schools that provided the highest-level education on par with (then) men-only Ivy League.
