Mount Holyoke College

American private liberal arts women's college, established in 1837 and located in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Mount Holyoke College is the oldest of the historical "Seven Sisters" — a group of Northeastern women's schools that were considered to have the highest standards of education, on par with Ivy League (which was men-only at the time).
