MMC GmbH

MMC GmbH (Multi- Media- Communication GmbH) was based in Stuttgart, Germany. Use MMC (9) if written as such, without "GmbH". Founded 1990 by Hans Derer, who once worked for 10 years at Intercord Ton GmbH (German label). He initiated "Kein Hass im wilden Süden" (campaign against racism) and released two benefit-cd's. He also organised concerts and football games and collected more than 250000 euro. in May, 1994 he founded Deshima Songs (publishing company) and a promotion-agency that promoted for example Haddaway, The Kelly Family, Enigma etc. In July, 1994 he founded Deshima Music GmbH (record label) and produced the first LP of The Harlem Gospel Singers. 1997, MMC GmbH was sold to London-based record-company EMI.
