Spiegelei

German label. Label Code: LC 2794 / LC 02794 Spiegelei (Fried Egg) was the "progressive" label established by Intercord Ton GmbH (Stuttgart) in 1971, as their answer to labels like Harvest or Brain. Uniquely Spiegelei releases rarely bore the label name (sometimes only on the spine, that was until the label was re-designed in the 1980s), although many of its covers had a recognisable style. Spiegelei's roster included two prime talents of Krautrock: Kraan and Hoelderlin, a lot of international jazz fusion, and many albums that are now collectable obscurities like the Conny Plank produced Aamok releases, Brainstorm and Eulenspygel albums, etc.
