Series of illustrated classical composers' biographies including a 10" LP with their recordings, originally released in Italy as I Grandi Musicisti ("IGM") by Fratelli Fabbri Editori in 1966 and licensed for the German market by Bastei in 1968. Usually issued with a 12-page booklet attached to a 12"x13" heavy paper gatefold cover and a 10"-paper inner sleeve. Issued fortnightly it was available by monthly subscription or sold in book/magazine stores.
