Jim Stanton was one of the most notable recording engineers to work at the studio and he engineered records released on the associated record label between about 1973 and 1975, prior to moving back to Tennessee and starting Champ Records (4). C.B Herndon's daughter, Madera Ridley worked at the studio, as well as Madera's husband in the 1970's, Art Ridley. Most (if not all) of the recording released on this label were made at United Recording Studios, West Columbia, SC. The label was also known as United Music World, and, the label started out as United Low Country in Hampton, South Carolina before being moved to West Columbia, South Carolina. The recording studio and record label were owned by Crandel Berry "C.B." Herndon.
