Art Ridley

Arthur Edwin Ridley (b. Dec. 7, 1938 in USA, d. June 20, 2006 in Orlando, Florida USA) was involved in the business of electric pipe organs in South Carolina USA in the 1960's. He was also a recording engineer at United Recording Studios, West Columbia, SC in the 1970's. Although his obituary indicates that he owned United Recording Studios, West Columbia, SC, reliable sources indicate that he worked there while he was married to the studio owner's daughter, Madera Ridley, daughter of C.B. Herndon between the years 1973 to 1978. Ridley was also a volunteer for the South Carolina Dept. of Juvenile Justice. He retired to Orlando, Florida in 1999. Ridley was married at least twice. Once to Madera Herndon, then to LaVerne, who he was married to at the time of his death in June, 2006 in Orlando, Florida USA. Ridley is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, Florida.
