The Prestige Mono Series

Reissue series of 25 albums from the legendary Prestige label presented in both 33 1/3 RPM 200 gram vinyl LP and Hybrid SACD discs. Each album is mastered from the original analog mono master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio. All of the LP's are pressed at Quality Record Pressings and plated there by Gary Salstrom. In addition, the LP's feature deep groove labels and are pressed with a flat-edge, no groove-guard flat profile to replicate the original Prestige pressings. The LP jackets are original tip-on facsimiles with the original thick cardboard stock. The Hybrid SACD discs come packaged in mini old style gatefold jackets which feature printed wraps mounted to chipboard shells, also known as "mini LP" jackets. These 25 mono titles are sold both individually and as a complete series to those who subscribe. The first 1,000 copies are individually numbered, while the first 250 numbered copies are only available to series subscribers. The LPs were back on the presses starting in 2021, typically at 180 gram rather than 200 gram. This mono series is complemented by The Prestige Stereo Series.
