The Prestige Stereo Series

Reissue series of 25 of the most audiophile sounding Rudy Van Gelder recordings from the legendary Prestige label presented in both 33 1/3 RPM 200 gram vinyl LP and Hybrid SACD discs. Each album is mastered from the original analog master tapes by Kevin Gray. All of the LP's are pressed at Quality Record Pressings and plated there by Gary Salstrom. In addition, the LP's feature deep groove labels and are pressed with a flat-edge, no groove-guard flat profile to replicate the original Prestige pressings. The LP jackets are original tip-on facsimiles with the original thick cardboard stock. The Hybrid SACD discs come packaged in mini old style gatefold jackets which feature printed wraps mounted to chipboard shells, also known as "mini LP" jackets. These 25 stereo titles are sold both individually and as a complete series to those who subscribe. The first 1,000 copies are individually numbered, while the first 250 numbered copies are only available to series subscribers.
