Allied DT
Настоящее имя: Allied DT
Allied Digital Technologies was created as the result of the January 11, 1995 merge of Allied Film Laboratory, Inc. and HMG (2) Digital Technologies Corp.
The company operated several mastering and CD pressing plants, the primary locations were in Clinton (Tennessee) and Hauppauge (New York).
It was one of the largest ($200 million in revenues) independent multimedia manufacturers and providers of supply chain management services and videotape duplicating equipment in the USA. The merger was financed by bank debt and equity provided by an affiliate of Citicorp Venture Capital.
In March of 1999, Allied Digital Technologies and Vaughn Communications, Inc. merged to form Allied-Vaughn as a division of Allied Digital Technologies.
When Allied Digital Technologies went into bankruptcy end of 2000, the CD manufacturing facilities were sold to Americ Disc (Canadian manufacturer) and the video and CD-R lines to E. David Willette, the former CEO and major shareholder of Vaughn Communications. The two parties have formed a cooperative agreement and jointly ran the Clinton based plant. The new company continued to do business under the name of Allied Vaughn.
