VDC Group

The Video Duplicating Company (VDC) was an independent optical disc replicator founded in the UK in 1982. Originally located in Wembley, the moved their manufacturing operation in August 2005 when they purchased the MPO Broadcrest facility in Park Royal, London which was owned by MPO and before that by Broadcrest C.D. Their Wembley operation switched to a warehouse and distribution centre. In 2010, VDC became the first UK company to install Blu-ray mastering and replication machinery. The company went into administration in December 2014. This was followed by the establishment of a new company, VDC Group Trading Ltd., who would act as a manufacturing broker through Sony DADC.
