Studio Swan

Belgian recording studio founded in 1975 by Leo Caerts and Rocco Granata. Caerts and Granata asked Pierre Jonckheer, who came from D.E.S. Studios, for engineering. In 1976 Granata sold his shares to Pierre Jonckheer so Jonckheer became a partner. Studio Swan located on the grounds of the Suzy Wafel factory at Buizingen was in fact formerly Studio A of Studio Start, Buizingen (Belgium). Studio Swan rented the building including 5 offices, a large indoor swimming pool, sauna etc. from Sylvain Tack. When the new owners and direction of Suzy Wafels need more space for the factory they buyed out Caerts and Jonckheer. (For further information about this history see also Studio Start, Buizingen (Belgium)). Constant Verbeeck build a studio at Heist-op-den-Berg but he had no equipment. Caerts and Jonckheer moved in the new studio with their equipment. A colaboration with Verbeeck was a fact and Studio Swan was reborn. Later Caerts sold his shares to Pierre Jonckheer.
