Intercord Tonträger GmbH

Intercord Tonträger GmbH was a German record company. It officially started on October 12th 1995 at Aixheimer Straße 26 in Stuttgart. This was the former address of Intercord Ton GmbH. The company owned several labels and distributed a couple of foreign labels, for example XL Recordings and Mute. In 2000 EMI Group Plc reorganized its activities in Germany. As a result Intercord Tonträger GmbH was dissolved and all label activities were merged into EMI Electrola GmbH.
