Alléscenen

Danish theatre with roots dating back to 1857 and located at Frederiksberg Allé 57 on Frederiksberg in Copenhagen. After the death of Betty Nansen in 1943, Betty Nansen Teatret was renamed Allé-Scenen. In 1964 the theater was revived as Ungdommens Teater with the addition 'Alléscenen'. In 1976, the name was changed back to Alléscenen and the theatre became recognized as a part of the landsdelsscene-programme (regional theatres). Finally, In 1980, the theater was renamed Betty Nansen Teatret. Also mentioned as Allé Scenen or Allé-Scenen
