マッシュルーム・レコード Japan Mushroom was a label offshoot of publisher Alfa Music Ltd., founded in 1970 by Kawazoe Shōrō [川添象郎], Miki Curtis, Uchida Yuya [内田裕也], Kimura Hideki [木村英樹], and Murai Kunihiko [村井邦彦]. Alfa Music subsequently transferred all rights for the Mushroom artists' music to their newly formed division Alfa Records in 1977. Their records were made and distributed by Nippon Columbia (Denon sublabel), Toshiba Records, Liberty Records, amongst others.
