KMH Studios

Swedish studios in Södermalm, Stockholm, located at Hornsgatan / Bysistorget from early 1970s. The name is an acronym derived from the last names of the owners Lennart Karlsmyr, Leif Malmborg and Lasse Holm. Not to be confused with KMH for Kungliga Musikhögskolan I Stockholm. Lasse Holm, bought the venue (formerly the cinema Trixi) together with a friend from the band Moonlighters and converted it to a music studio. From the beginning, there was only one four-channel mixer. The facility was taken over by Polar Studios in 2007. In 2011, the studio got new owners and changed its name to Ingrid Studios.
