Majestic Studios
Настоящее имя: Majestic Studios
British recording studio located in the Clapham neighborhood of London, and active in the 1970s.
Built in 1914 in London as the Majestic Cinema, in 1969 the balcony and upper gallery were sealed off from the stage and stalls and converted into a recording studio by founder Mike Morton . The lower part of the building was then opened up as a bingo hall producing an unlikely combination under the same owners. The studio manager / co-owner was Mike Collier, and the studio was associated with engineers Roger Wilkinson and Alan Grandy (2)
The studio started out as a four track and proved to be successful, recording 'Here Come The Warm Jets' by Brian Eno, 'Gonna Make You An Offer You Can't Refuse' by Jimmy Helms, and 'Aurora Borealis' and 'Jigsaw' by Jigsaw (3).
