Distributor of those labels, US labels Fantasy, Milestone, Prestige and many other labels of different type. Often appears as "Production(s) Musidisc-Europe". Also credited as copyright holder, for licensing roles and appears as label "Musidisc Europe" (without hyphen) in Argentina for releases with cat# ME 5xxx distributed by Musidisc Europe Sudamericana S.A.I.C. y F. or EMI-Odeon S.A.I.C. Musidisc-Europe was founded in 1955 according to obituary notice of founder Philippe Thomas written by his family (see link dansnoscoeurs.fr below). Earliest appareance of 'Musidisc-Europe' detected for now on releases is 1964, though. But it's 1959 for America Records and 1961 for Musidisc, two Musidisc-Europe labels founded by Philippe Thomas. Musidisc-Europe was managed until 1977 by founder Philippe Thomas and later by François Grandchamp des Raux (President). Musidisc-Europe mention appears on releases up to ca. mid-80s.
