Ambassador (7)
Настоящее имя: Ambassador (7)
U.S. record label (1946-1949). This was a short-lived venture of bandleader Freddy Martin, who opened a record shop in the Los Angeles Ambassador Hotel in 1946. Since Martin was under exclusive contract to RCA Victor, he agreed to use the pseudonym Felix Figueroa on Ambassador records and to record only tunes of a type that would not compete with his RCA Victor output. Initially the label was distributed only through Martin's record shop, but in May 1947 he turned pressing and distribution over to Howard Krause's Enterprise Records (14).
