Felix Figueroa And His Orchestra
Настоящее имя: Felix Figueroa And His Orchestra
Об исполнителе:
Alias for Freddy Martin And His Orchestra recording without its bandleader, Freddy Martin. In 1946, Freddy Martin, who was under a personal contract with the RCA Victor label, negotiated with RCA Victor that his sidemen could record under this pseudonym for the newly-founded Ambassador (7) label. The four Latin titles they cut were distributed first through Martin's own music shop in Los Angeles' Ambassador Hotel, but later also more widely. One of the first songs released, "Pico And Sepulveda," became the theme song of Dr. Demento's syndicated radio show. It was also featured in the surrealist film, "Forbidden Zone" (1980).
