Celluloid Phonograph Cylinder production label founded by William Messer (former employee of Lambert Company) active 1906-1922. The label was produced by the Federal Record Corporation following a corporate reorganization in June, 1917, and continued until a fire destroyed company offices and its pressing plant on October 10, 1922. Indestructible was a very successful company that manufactured inexpensive, unbreakable cylinders under several different brand names. Some of their records were distributed under the "Oxford" brand by Sears Roebuck & Co. From 1908-1912, Indestructible Records were also distributed by Columbia Phonograph Co..
