Located corner Russell & Flinders Street, Melbourne Australia Constructed 1927 to 1929 and opened 23 February 1929. In 1962 converted into two cinemas - the Forum downstairs and the Rapollo upstairs. Now known as The Forum, Melbourne. Named the State Theatre it can also appear as The State Theatre Do not confuse with State Theatre - an entirely different complex also located in Melbourne.
