Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Institut Göttingen

Founded in 1951, the Johann Sebastian Bach Institute was an institute dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach in Göttingen, Germany. It worked with Bach-Archiv Leipzig producing the New Bach Edition (in German, Neue Ausgabe sämtlicher Werke), completed in 2006. Following publication, the Institute closed and work consolidated to the Bach Archive in Leipzig
