World's Greatest Symphonies

This U.S. budget label was produced by RCA Victor for Music Appreciation Products, Inc Music-Appreciation Records Several label varieties (font variations) were produced, starting in 1938. Masters were often of Domestic recordings & some of European origin, and all issues are anonymous were no one was credited for royalties, etc These records were sold inexpensively in variety shops, grocery stores and various other retail outlets. All of these sets have UN-credited performances by some well known RCA musicians & performers etc, like: New York Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, featuring conductors Fritz Reiner & Leopold Stokowski & Artur Rodzinski Some of these records are from previous recordings from the back catalogue via RCA and many are found previously issued on Victor Red Seals.
