Mr. Music (5)

Label specializing in big band releases and managed by Wayne Knight, who was formerly responsible for high-quality collectors' LP imprints from Giants Of Jazz Productions and Sounds Great Records, as well as Star Line Cassettes. Knight switched to releasing CDs beginning in 1995 on Mr. Music, starting with the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band 1943-45 V-Disc sessions (MMCD-7001 and 7002). In 2001 the label went dormant - nothing more was released on Mr. Music until the summer of 2008, when Knight started a new run, headlined "A Series Live From the Vaults."
