― "ccc" is a placeholder of varying length and format for the client's reference number of the release. (See notes below.)
― "???" is a three-digit code often beginning with 'A' or '1'.
― "yxxxx0z" is a seven-digit code assigned by Arvato Digital Services Bertelsmann, USA.
― "0z" is a two-digit number, often '01' or '02', representing the number of the master.
― "y" represents the year the glass master was created. H = 2008, I = 2009, J = 2010, K = 2011.
These years do not represent the release year, which cannot be determined by the matrix data alone. The mastering year is the earliest year the release could have been pressed, but it could have been pressed from the same master in a subsequent year.

Notes:
1. - On some releases the customer name may appear as part of the "ccc" string. (e.g. A Grey Sigh In A Flower Husk). In situations like this the Pressed By role should be given to Arvato Digital Services Bertelsmann, USA.
2. - On some releases a DADC Code may be present as part of the "ccc" string. (e.g. The Muppets (Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack)). In situations like this the Pressed By role should be given to Arvato Digital Services Bertelsmann, USA. DADC Codes found in "ccc" strings are not pressing plant indicators, and therefore cannot be added as company catalogue numbers. They may be added to the BaOI 'Other' field, similar to DADC Codes sometimes found printed on the front of discs or on package artwork.
