Aarhus-hallen
Настоящее имя: Aarhus-hallen
Danish sports and cultural venue in Aarhus. Allowing 5-6000 people, at the opening in 1938 it was the second largest venue in Denmark, only surpassed by Forum, Copenhagen. Besides the grand hall the building has housed a restaurant sub-venue, Restaurant Tarantella, where a.o. Fats Waller played in 1938. This was later reorganized as "Palmehaven" and later again as "Tropicana". Aarhus-hallen went bankrupt in 1961 but was used the following years as ad hoc concert venue. A.o. The Who played a very brief concert there in 1965. After only 25 seconds the audience invaded the stage and trashed the instruments.
