Forum, Copenhagen

Forum, Forum København or Forum Copenhagen are all names used for the large concert hall, congress and fair venue at Rosenørns Alle, Copenhagen Denmark. Built in 1926 as an exhibition hall. Sabotaged during WWII as it housed German troops, it was rebuilt in 1947. After housing a variety of events - including 6-day bike races - in 1997 Forum was rebuilt and acoustically improved at a cost of 10 million Euros to improve the poor sound quality in the hall. Since then it has become a popular concert hall for audiences of up to 10.000 capacity.
