Canadian label, based in Toronto, Ontario; a subsidiary of Arc Sound Ltd. The numbering sequence precedes Arc Sound's Star label. The layout and the lettering are almost identical on the Star (6) labels. Some of masters are licensed from Embassy in the U.K. (The Typhoons and Les Carle, for example), while others are sourced from Twin Hits in the U.S., like Tim Reynolds (2) or Dee Dee Fern. Other Arc Sound Ltd. labels, like Arc Records (4) (see A 1052, 1053, 1064 and 1065, for example) used masters from the same sources.
