Canadian record company and label launched in 1974 by Bobby G. Griffith with Gerry Beadle first acting as National Promotion Director and later becoming president. Named after Griffith's first big international hit The Badger's Song. After first two releases the label name changed to simply Badger (2) and added a graphic logo. Badger Records continued to be used for record company credits.
In July 1975 a distribution deal was struck with Quality Records Limited for Canadian distribution. In November 1976 a UK distribution deal was struck with Music World Scotland.
