Shun is vocalist/guitarist Matt Whitehead (Throttlerod, Made Of Machines), drummer Rob Elzey (Telic, Boar), bassist Jeff Baucom (Made Of Machines, Boar) and guitarist/vocalist Scott Brandon (Taking In A Lifetime, Carrel). Together they fuse decades of diverse musical backgrounds and experiences into a brand of hard, heavy rock that defies strict categorization. Elzey and Brandon first met in late 2018, picking up Baucom shortly thereafter and finalizing the line-up with Whitehead joining a few months later. Since its inaugural days the band has never lost its head of steam, even through a pandemic. In late 2019 they began recording demos which, by twists of fate and perseverance, would become their self-recorded and produced self-titled debut album on Small Stone Records released June 4, 2021.
